Summerset Signage

A suite of large-scale signage and outdoor materials designed for a high-visibility public environment.

Role: Brand Identity, Environmental Design, Signage

Format: Large-scale signage, outdoor print, site-based graphics

Scope: Selected examples from wider Summerset signage work

Overview

The Prebbleton Sales Office project involved the design of a range of large-scale signage and outdoor print materials for Summerset. These public-facing assets were developed to engage visitors both on-site and at a distance, supporting the visibility of the village within the surrounding community. The work shown here is a selected example from a wider body of signage created for Summerset across multiple locations and formats.

Context

Working within an established brand, the project required consistency across multiple formats and environments. From large-scale billboards to temporary structures such as the sales office portacom, each application needed to remain clear, legible, and recognisable in real-world conditions.

The work formed part of a broader body of signage and environmental design created for Summerset across multiple locations and formats.

Approach

The design approach focused on clarity, scale, and adaptability. Existing brand elements were translated across a variety of formats, ensuring strong visual impact at different distances and viewing speeds.

Consideration was given to how materials would be experienced in context, from passing traffic to on-site visitors, with emphasis on hierarchy, readability, and durability across outdoor applications.

Outcome

The result is a cohesive suite of signage that strengthens the presence of the Prebbleton village within its environment. The work demonstrates the application of brand systems across large-scale, real-world touchpoints, supporting both wayfinding and marketing objectives.
